Hi I’m Gemma, breast cancer survivor, writer and Mum of 2.
In 2019 at age 35 years I was diagnosed with stage 2b triple negative breast cancer. At the time my daughter was 6 months old. What followed was a year of gruelling treatment, and one of the hardest times in my life. 3 years later in 2022, at 38 years old, I welcomed my post cancer baby boy in to the world.
My mission now is to reach out to other women during and after their diagnosis of breast cancer. To offer validation, up to date information and above all hope. To keep words flowing out and knowledge flowing in, as I navigate the ever evolving world of survivorship as a young woman and mother.
So wherever in your journey you are, join me for thought provoking chats, laughs and tears as together we try to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be.
Gemma.
